Renee Maddux, PT

biopic_rmRenee Maddux received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Purdue University and her Master of Arts in Communication from University of Colorado at Boulder.  She received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University. Renee has had 17+ years of experience as a physical therapist. Her past professional experience includes Inpatient Rehab and Acute Care and 15 years of pediatric experience including including the clinic, home environment, private school, aquatics, and hippotherapy.

Some of Renee’s continuing education content areas include:  childhood motor development, Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), Sensory Integration, Floortime Approach, motor learning, Cusick’s lower extremity management, strength training in Cerebral Palsy, infant massage, orthotic management, Mobility Opportunities Via Education (M.O.V.E.) provider training, aquatics, and hippotherapy.

 

Kelley Mitchell, PT

biopic_kelKelley Mitchell received her Bachelor of Arts in Health and Exercise Science from Furman University and her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University.  Kelley has 19+ years of experience as a physical therapist.  Her past professional experience includes Inpatient Rehab, and 18+ years in pediatric settings such as the aquatic environment, hippotherapy, the home environment, private and public school system, and the gymnastics center.

Some of Kelley’s continuing education focus has included the following:  strength training for the pediatric population, Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), motor development, hypertonia, sensory integration, Floortime Approach, aquatics, Cusick’s lower extremity management, pediatric yoga, hippotherapy, gait biomechanics and orthotics, home accessibility, infant massage, and seating and mobility.
